Virginia Scarlett
Open science researcher
Originally trained in plant genetics and genomics, I now do research that empowers organizations to advance their open science strategy. Through surveys, interviews, data audits, and more, I can help you design programs that align with your values and connect your researchers with a broader audience.
My work doesn’t stop at a final report. I'll partner with stakeholders in your organization to turn research insights into action. I assemble communities of practice around the issues I investigate, cutting across silos and hierarchies to efficiently implement change.
To me, organizational research is not about predicting the future or eliminating risk. It's about elevating the good ideas that are often lost in the busy-ness of business-as-usual.
